Sonia’s Tamales & More in McAllen, TX won best tamales in 2022 in the Rio Grande Valley through Valley Central. We are family owned and operated and will custom make tamales with any filling you want. We are a member of Too Good To Go – End Food Waste.

We offer a Variety of Tamales. Traditional, Vegan & Vegetarian. We also have Menudo and Barbacoa. Good homemade food takes time to cook and sells out. Please place order in advance. We greatly appreciate your business!

Lady at the front did not acknowledge me standing in the front desk for 5 minutes while she was preparing the order. A simple “hello, we’ll be right with you” would’ve been fine.
